Bible Art Journaling meets at Cousler Park, by the newer playground, Monday at 10am.
Bible Art Journaling meets every Monday throughout the summer. I will not be there this upcoming Monday (the 29th), but Angela Dunne has graciously offered to facilitate. Please look for her in front of the newer playground, in the grassy area.
Please bring lawn chairs, blanket, and food or water you might need. Also bring the bible you want to draw in (or an additional journal if you don't want to draw in your bible) and tools for drawing (pencils, gel pens, markers, crayons, scrapbooking supplies, etc)
This is meant to be a casual, no pressure group that meets to creatively engage with the Word and connect with each other. Please don't come with unrealistic expectations or unneeded pressure on yourselves. Allow this to be a fun and new way to take in God's Word.
Children are welcome to participate or play nearby. I will always meet at a location that is kid friendly. My boys will usually be there with a soccer ball or football, ready to play with whoever wants to join them.
I will update the location we are meeting at weekly on this blog and on the PhosterCreativity Facebook page. You can also contact me to get on my text message reminder list.
I look forward to seeing you. Give it a try. There's no weekly commitment. We're all learning as we go.
Here is a good blog post from someone who started art bible journaling. Gives some great introductory info. This is new to me, too.
